That Brio girl! It was nice to flirt without speaking. Sitting a few tables opposite mine was this petite with Intelligent looks (God one thing that turns me on!). She was clad in this fluroscent green kurta with a long metal chain like the retro look except there weren't any gems on this one, a light blue denim folded calf length and a pair of worn out Nike floaters. She seemed like a clean looking (Wants everything clean tidy types) hates dirt and won't mind getting wet in the rain ONCE IN A WHILE. Has a secret smile reserved for her private moments. Reads books. Hell that's super. I wanted to walk up to her and ask her permission to sit with her. I just wanted to do that just sit with her... and say something as stupid as "I'm bored sitting alone and it seemed you were too so thought of making lives better" ugghhh... I could've got slapped. Anyway too many people. Embarassment-prone and of course lack of enough balls to pull out some stunt like that. Sh...
This is a cool sprite ad!!!
My other life is almost the same. UP - GYM - WORK - DOWN. The UGWD is ruling my stars i guess. They're just everywhere atleast 5 days in a week. That is almost everywhere. I have started to run on the treadmill nowadays if that is of any interest to anyone of you. I burn 600 cals in an hour. Nothing more. Work is not doing good. My deals are slippin, my bosses are flippin' But I am holding on. I heard a cool song by Rupert Holmes - Escape. Try to get it. It's a one hit wonder.
Fallen Angels At last a Wong Kar-wai full length. I am not sure whether to just say 'great movie' or go in detail. i think I'll just say this. I watched it too late. Late enough for others to copy similar styles. I got introduced to WKW late i guess. The lighting, the music, the story, the editing, the way we see the movie... everything is a new experience. It's just not your typical movie. It's art within art. That's it.
At last, something we did. Sars went mad! we just captured it and uploaded it.

Last nite, I met up with Sen and Wish at spencers. PJ joined a little later. Browsing around Westside w.o. A/C was unthinkable. We later went to Landmark and, this must be pretty common with everyone who goes to the LM, bought some classic lit. It was cheaper and it was hardbound. An Irresistable combo! PJ got Omkara and Wish was carrying a bag with some stuff. Not sure where she bought them. Popcorn, sweetcorn. Left spencers with PJ. There was some friction with the other 2. Went to the Gopalpuram coffee shop. Star called after a long time and by then sars joined us. I was on the phone long enough for sars to play the smartass. Star had some bad health week and recovered a.t.m. PJ left and we picked our way back to the beach. Sars wanted to take his car. We picked his car and all of a sudden sars had this impulsive need to go to matchpoint. We shared a mulligatawny and by then my mom's warning call came. Came back home. e.o.d.

Vettaiyaadu Villayaadu How can you squander good acting? Make a movie like Vettaiyaadu Villayaadu. How can you spend up a good night’s sleep? Watch a movie like Vettaiyaadu Villayaadu. Ok, I am clearly overstating this. Some parts of the movie were appreciable. Here’s a small list of what was good. >DCP Raghavan’s Introduction – No swish whoosh noise accompaniment, established a gutsy police officer, dark humour hanging somewhere there but wasn’t used. >The Murder of Arokiaraaj’s Daughter – Established the goriness of the perpetuator, music accommodated the overhanging darkness. >The Investigation of Arokiaraaj’s Daughter’s Murder – Established Raghavan Instinct (was it an inspiration from Will’s Instinct – Red Dragon? Not sure), BGM, again the ability to use bright daylight to deliver ominous activity like digging up a dead body, Goriness. >Kayal Vizhi meets Raghavan – Now it took jus2minutes for Mr.KH to do what he does the very best. Home ground advantage? It was like wa...
Chariots of Fire - Review I saw the movie in one sitting after a long long time. Maybe the only disadvantage I felt was due to the popularity of the theme music, I've heard it so many times that I didn't perhaps get the complete enjoyment of the movie. But nevertheless the movie was great. No All American heroism. Thank god not much of the Anglo-saxon decency for that matter. One thing I did notice was that the director wanted to show a lot more but something stopped him. Something WAS missing. Overall it's a great movie. Being from India, heroism does play a role on me. I would rate 'Seabiscuit' and 'Breaking Away' as two of the most inspiring movies I've seen. I wanna add a lot more to this about Chariots of Fire. I'll need to watch it again. I liked the titles and how they reused the titles for the ending as well. Smart. The title music from Vangelis - Chariots Of Fire (Mythodea Live in Greece) 13 (Tzameti) - Trailer A friend of mine introduced me...

Here comes the sun Some folks are on blankets, slowly daydreaming and reaching for their food. I was watching Godfather 2 yesterday for the ... time some cool quotes!!! There are many things my father taught me here in this room. He taught me, keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. My offer is this: nothing. Not even the $20,000 for the gaming license, which I would appreciate if you would put up personally I should dig out more on this Lauren Weisberger. I like the title for her first novel "The Devil wears Prada". Of course its a movie now.

Nothing much happened in all these days. I watched Roman Polanski 's Oliver Twist . I've not read the book but I just didn't understand why anyone make that into a movie. Yeah its a classic novel and all that but it was pretty boring. Then I had some friends coming in. I had some relatives and nothing much actually. I'm reading Shantaram now. Must read. If you like fast paced stories and to top it all this one's true. And even better it's about Bombay which physically exists in India but it IS a country by itself. I've been there a few times but I just fell for it the first time i set my eyes on it. L A F Sight. No kidding. It happens. Even today. My latest Pic
I was watching my parents yesterday. I just realized that they've moved about (ie., meet/visit new people/places) so little that some times they take certain things for granted. For instance when they meet a new person, they take it for granted that the person's a Hindu, unless ofcourse their name suggests the religion (which is more often the case). They believe in all religions whole-heartedly and its not that. It's perhaps a small thing. But somehow when you wanna tie it up with other things like responsibility or duties of a son that's when it gets a bit tricky. My mom always wanted to go to a hill station. Any, she isn't particular. I've been working over 6 years now. I've done nothing about it. Now my mom hasn't crossed beyond Goa and Dad's even better... Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh :) It was my dad's b'day the other day and it was father's day some days ago. I've never really bought him anything (his needs of course are close to n...

That's me...I should've looked like that when i was wondering on the 10th of Oct 2005...Wondering what's wrong!
On the 17th of October 2005 my life changed. A blood report on that rainy bangalore day reveals to me what I feared. It said I may have Acute Leukemia. Two days later it was confirmed. A week later I was at Vellore. There is too much tell in between or on the other hand very little. So I'm skipping everything that happened during that interval. Like those last immortal words by Alex in "A Clockwork..." I was cured alright... (I Guess!)
