Life is a sexually transmitted disease - Anonymous

I was watching my parents yesterday. I just realized that they've moved about (ie., meet/visit new people/places) so little that some times they take certain things for granted. For instance when they meet a new person, they take it for granted that the person's a Hindu, unless ofcourse their name suggests the religion (which is more often the case). They believe in all religions whole-heartedly and its not that. It's perhaps a small thing. But somehow when you wanna tie it up with other things like responsibility or duties of a son that's when it gets a bit tricky. My mom always wanted to go to a hill station. Any, she isn't particular. I've been working over 6 years now. I've done nothing about it. Now my mom hasn't crossed beyond Goa and Dad's even better... Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh :) It was my dad's b'day the other day and it was father's day some days ago. I've never really bought him anything (his needs of course are close to nothing) or done anything to perhaps please him (like take them out).

I'm in a way responsible for some things... problem is responsibility is a burden. If you decide to put it onto your back, you better endure its 'poison ivy' days. If you snatch it off before that you'll not only miss the passion flowers that it may bear but also a scar and a reason for the world to laugh at your back.

The poison ivy that's growin on me now...It's sure hell...
